Recently LuluLemon Athletica was in the spotlight for selling overpriced yoga pants that were sheer. The company said it just happened to be a “bad batch” and that anyone who suspects that they have purchased a defective pair should wear them and bend over in front of a mirror. But the issues highlights a pet peeve of mine in American culture. We all think that just because something costs and arm and a leg, it’s better quality.
