Satiation is triggered when the body experiences stretching of the stomach and sugar sufficiency! Sugar is the fuel the body runs on. Fat needs to be converted to sugar before it is usable as fuel.
One of the problems with eating a low carb high fat diet is that there are more calories per bite and it’s very easy to over eat. With a plant based diet, due to there being more fiber and water present in the food AND that carbohydrates contain less calories per gram than fat, it’s much easier to just eat and not worry about it so much while still maintaining weight.
A low fat, high carb, 80/10/10 type diet based around plant foods is the best for weight loss. Avoid animal products and oil for better results. For optimal results, our natural raw vegan diet of tropical fruits only is the best!
